Salty Destinations!

I up-cycled an old picture frame.  The glass had broken
and I had it laying around just waiting to be used.
I first painted the backing using some Prima chalkpaint
in a beautiful blue color.  I dipped my cheesecloth in some
Prima heavy gesso and then applied that.  I added the
GA942 Prima Mini Art Stones and the GA941 Art Stones
while it was all still wet.
The labels, Salty and Destination are stickers from
the French Riviera 12x12 Paper pad.  I popped them
up on some thick chipboard to give them dimension
and some sturdiness.  The metal anchor, starfish and
bottle are from the Ephemera kit.
The Shell is from the GA960 Relics and Artifacts kit.
I gessoed it and then added some Rose Iridescent Texture
Paste GA534 in the center.  The statue is part of the kit and
I lightly painted it gold and along the edge of the shell.
I added more of the mini stones that I had painted gold
and pink around the statue.  A few mica flakes in 3 colors
were also added.  I had to add the tricolored
embellishment GA122 at her feet and it still needed
more pearls so I added GA294 the faux pearl garland.
I filled the bottle with the mini stones and some
GA630 Gold Fusion glass to mimic sand.  I rolled
up a tiny piece of the French Riviera paper and tied
it for a message in a bottle.  I am planning on putting
this in our RV.  We love Salty Destinations!
Just thought I would share a picture of all the products
that went into this project!  I loved getting my hands
dirty to make this!  I hope that I have inspired you to
play!  You can find many of these items in Deb's store,
